Tipsy Green Youth

Tipsy Green Youth is a website for a virtual event introducing Korea’s Soju culture, experimenting how variable fonts can be used on the web for interactive features in the GUI(Graphic User Interface).  In the early stages, I’ve went through basic strategy building, Outline & Site map for the web, wireframes for core features.

During the process while planning to design a typeface that could be used for the virtual event’s identity I tested several experiments making a variable font that shifts in form.

This further developed to an idea of a typeface that would go from sober to drunk,

and was used as hovering features for the desktop version of the website.
